How often should I have a facial?

Your skin cycle lasts 21 days and we strongly recommend that you work with the natural rhythm of the body and therefore plan to have a facial at least once a month. Consider that regular facials will generate long lasting results for your skin.

How do I decide which facial is right for me?

We completely understand that there is a wide variety of facials to choose from and this can make it very difficult for you to select the one that is best suited to your skin type and lifestyle. A facial should be completely tailored to suit the individual and visiting an experienced beauty therapist is key to finding the facial that will offer the best benefits to your skin. At Vitality Spa, our team of specialist therapists work through a consultation before your treatment to understand how your skin behaves and to listen to any concerns that you may have. They will diagnose treatments accordingly.

When should I begin my facial treatments before a big event?

Many of our clients visit for a course of treatments in the run up to their wedding or a special event. It is important to understand that different facials take different lengths of time to make a difference and have a variety of effects on the skin therefore you should plan accordingly. For a bride, we recommend they visit us, if possible, upto 6 months before the event so that we can plan a schedule. Consider that exfoliating treatments such as micro-dermabrasion causes skin to flake so this must be completed at least a week before a big event.

The most important thing is to make your therapist aware of any major events coming up.
